How I Spent My Last Day At 47

Posted by Picasa

Last weekend I was swinging a machete and a bushhook clearing a Jeep trail into Twig Forest.

This weekend I am not allowed to lift anything (GRRRRRR!) and have been assigned the job of scanning a blue zillion Katie pictures for her senior picture page in the yearbook.

I have created a temporary blog, to host her pictures so the yearbook staff can pull those we choose. I won't be commenting on that blog, it's very temporary, but you are welcome to overdose on sugar by going there.

Gotta go. I have more photos to scan.

I scan therefore I am.

So- sometime you'll post about your future thoughts on Twig forest?

47??? You're a youngster! A brave one to comment on my post today, but a youngster. Hope the shoulder is mending and many happy returns of the day! Tomorrow. Er, you know. I'll come back tomorrow..

FC-- Your Katie is so lovely and beautiful. Her glamour shot is so glamorous. Wow. That shot of you with her, the homecoming queen, brought tears to my eyes. What a proud father with his wonderful daughter.

Scan on, dad, it's a labor of love. And take care of that shoulder.

Welcome Joe,

FC - you hafta know that I mean this in an appropriate way, but Katie is SuperFly. It's the infectious happiness in those big brown eyes - hits like a slap.

She must have gotten all the good genes from her Momma.

I can see, however, why you have the glock out whenever a new suitor stops by.
