A Roll In The Hay

I was sitting on the porch talking to the puppies ( we call them the puppies out of habit, even now when they are almost eleven years old) when Flounder gave me that, "You've been awful busy lately and have neglected us" look.

Flounder is the master at this particular look and has been known to use it to get his way, but there was no denying he was right this time. I had done little more than feed and step over them in my busy back and forth week.

So Flounder, Feather, and I traipsed off the porch and down to the pond. It was a little boring there with no water, but we didn't stay long because Flounder said he knew where there was a delicous green grassy glade.

Flounder lead the way and soon enough, we were there.

Flounder dove in first. It was deep.

Feather followed and soon a frivolous Flounder-Feather frolic flowed over the grass.

It was as if the grass was some type of "dognip".

See part two for more of this doggy decadence ...

Very weird Blogger publishing today (9/28) and last night. I have no idea where part two of this dog tale is, but it may suddenly show up as did part one ...
