Nice. But the real reason I'm here is, Mr. Attitude wants to tell you what a nice picture of a whooping crane you have there on your sidebar. I keep telling him it's an egret, but he won't hear it. :)

Loved your description of the "wreck the kitchen, hold your breath and pray" cake - most of my cooking is that way. I do *science experiments* in the kitchen - sometimes they turn out pretty good!

Your cake looks yummy - bet the wife will be pleased on her birthday. Hope it lasts that long.

I did too ... wreck the kitchen that is. Thanks! It's one of those cakes that's sweet, but not suffocatingly so.

It's one of those flavors she brought to the merger.
Good luck trying to find it, Winn Dixie seems to have stopped carrying it.
