Soccer

Who is that blonde kid?

Don't you love it when the girl trounces him?

I always liked watching #2 Son playing high school soccer. There was a kind of beauty in seeing my own doing something so naturally.

Are your teams coed because there aren't enuf students in the district to field boy teams and girl teams? Or has it always been that way?

FC-
We may not get to see Mrs. FC but if I'm not mistaking I heard her voice? Tell her hi! Thunder will probably be calling soon about plans to come down to talk to the builders. Talking to the Cypres people today.

Floridacracker,

Saw in the news today that the Dept of Education has finally started issuing checks to those Florida teachers who completed the rigorous certification process. About time. Congrats again and I hope you get your "reward" money soon.

Almost forgot to mention the little jump your header elicited when I first glanced at the loading page. LOL! Good one!

Great new header!

Wow, that blond kid definitely got decked early on, but he kept right on playing.

Sweet video, fc. Good life y'all are living there.

Lisa,
Oh, I wasn't awake then. I scheduled it to post at that time!

Pablo,
I understand that sentiment.
Our teams are coed because this is a community league, not the school.
Even though Junior lobbied for and was successful in getting our school to create it's first soccer team in it's 70 year history, the school chose to start a girl's team.
So to play, he had to find a community team.

Lightnin,
Hell yes you can hear her. You can pick her out at any sporting event.

Cindy,
Just like his Dad.

Native Mom,
Got it on tax day! The future years are in jeopardy though.

Mel,
Well, he is his father's son.

Sophie,
It's genetic, but yes, he most definitely is. I wondered if anyone else would notice that.
LOL!
Glad you like the batfish!

Hey Robin,
I love the way he bounced up all in one fluid movement!

that is one ugly batfish. which i know you will take as a compliment.

junior's looking good! and i'm glad he has some competition around to keep him humble. ;)

It's just fun to be playing ... but scoring doesn't hurt either.

Ericka said...

way to go, junior!

and 'boo!' said the batfish. :-)

Kathy A,
Why yes, that is a batfish compliment! He gets humbled, he does some humbling, it's all a matter of balance! :)

Robert,
Unfortunately, there was not enough scoring from our side in this game!

Ericka,
That batfish was passed around a bit, but went back to the sea with great tales to tell.
