You must feel so secure. Loved the toward the ceiling eye roll. Goood boy Bear.

I'm now convinced that all Labs are nuts!

I love the eye-roll too, plus that sort of growly, whiney thing he does between barks. Luka's very vocal that way too - cracks me up!

Please ask Bear to forgive me for rolling off my chair with laughter. Doncha just love it when they talk to ya?

I think you're gonna like my post tomorrow morning. 8-]

I clicked on this and sent the two dogs sleeping under my desk into a total tizzy! You have a courageous protector in Bear. You'll never have to worry about a helium-filled sneak attack!

About an hour ago I heard this barking in the hotel room and I turned around and it was Cathy signed into today's post on HER computer. We are here together in NC- she's snow/sunbathing and helping me with tile choices; I'm designing a kitchen. And our contractor has a peach of a rescue dog named Roxie who comes to work with him everyday. It's as though the new addition already has wonderful dog karma. Wonder what the cats will think? BTW, Sophie would never be such a putz as to carry on so at a balloon. That Bear- no dignity whatsoever. But you and Emma are right-he's certifiably cute.

Hi ArkPatti!
He was pretty goofy, wasn't he? Thanks for suggesting us to Coffee/Canines. I'm slowly putting together the interview.

Laura,
That growly whiney thing melts me every time! And yes, all Labs are goofs!!

Sophie,
Heck, I laugh at him about 24/7 so I completely understand.
Looking forward to tomorrow!

Native,
Now that I think about it, we have not had a single balloon attack in the two years that Bear has been with us!

Vicki,
I hope pets are allowed at that hotel, you might get kicked out if they hear Bear barking in the next room.
Be patient with Cathy up there, she's a native Floridian like me and we go a little crazy when we get to see snow.
Your Sophie would have killed and eaten this balloon after she brought it to you as a present!
LOL!
Yes, I know what she does with your lizards.
Hey, Mrs. FC and the Southern Sisters are in Tampa tonight!

Bear has such lovely white teeth. I guess he doesn't drink a lot of coffee.

I think he's rolling his eyes because you just don't GET how dangerous those things could be. For starters, they're a choking hazard, and will attack babies in their cribs and suffocate them, and THEN there's the whole sea turtle-eating-them-thinking-they're-jellyfish issue. Not to mention the whole hoodoo flight thing they do.
Honestly, FC. Listen to your dog. Danger! Ack! Ack! Ack!

Miz S,
I can't imagine Bear on caffeine,no wait, I can and it's scary.

Zick,
I was just explaining all that to him. That's why the balloon is inside and out of reach. As the proud papa of oh, about 4000 loggerhead seaturtles, I preach the don't let your balloons go message all the time.
In fact, it's illegal in FL to let go more than ten in one day.
I think it's CATS that steal baby breath though.
Unfortunately, they are not illegal yet.

acklayi is my word verification ... ack, ack, ack.
What are the odds.

I need a Bear fix! They had lab pups for adoption at Petsmart on Sunday....I think Der may have taken one if I hadn't been there. But we are going to have our own pup to worry about!

Can't live without them. I have a Boykin Spaniel that points out anything new or different, too.
