By the time you read this, I will be on the road to the Spacecoast Birding Festival over in Titusville.
That's a long, southward slanted ride across the peninsula for me so I'm leaving before the sun rises.
On such a journey, something is bound to happen.
When it does, I will share it here.

Send me a postcard.
10-4 Pablo.
I think I will get to meet Chet Baker's Mother.
Very cool, good birding and have fun!
Will be waiting to hear about the Festival! (and the trip)
Birding Festival??
You?
OMG have we coerced you over to the dark side?
Please send our condolences to Julie Z and BTB.
And have a great time at a great festival!
Um, for clarity the condolences are on the loss of Bill's dad.

Take pictures of everything, especially Chet Baker's mom! Say hi for me. Have a great time, too.
Whee dawgies! Are you taking the RRT either way? Been years since I drove that route... always came across something interesting.
Cool Ibiseses... or is the plural Ibi? In which case, you might witness an Ibi Fly-by. 8-}
Have fun and be safe! No vulture ventures!
Funny all the names the different reaches of coastline get in Florida. I'm not even sure what our's is. I think it's Paradise Coast.
We saw Julie yesterday and I shared my picture of Elwood with her. It was fun to meet someone that I feel a real connection to, kind of like I feel a connection to you FC, even though we haven't met. Maybe we will sometime. Sorry we didn't run into you yesterday. Nancy, another FC
Ooh, I'm intrigued. Can't wait to see some pictures and hear about something that I need to Google.
Eileen,
Hi!It was great!
Lisa,
Working on it next!
Myamuh,
I will. Everybody seemed to be doing okay.. I think a trip was probably good medicine.
Robin,
Got pics and for the record, she is just as nice and real as on her website and books.
Sophie,
You won't believe the IBI video I got.
Robert,
It's the Nature Coast up here... which is mostly still true.
Nancy,
Isn't she amazing? How does one person get such a dose of talents?
Miz S,
Next post is about the trip! I'm sure there will be something Googleworthy in it.
!!! My wife and I were at the Space Coast Birding Festival on Friday and Saturday!! I wish I had read your blog before today!!!
Kenneth, don't feel bad...I was as excited to get photos of the elusive FloridaCracker as I am about my snapshots of the Skunk Ape. He came out for just an hour or two, then he slipped back into the palmettos.
Kenneth,
Was that you? LOL!
Julie,
One more critter on your life list that you can check off.
LOL!
It was truly an honor to meet you and your kids.
