Had a emu chase my truck in sylvania Georgia along a turn row in a cotton field.Luckily I had a camera to prove to the guys at the hunt camp that I was not going crazy. I stopped got out of the truck and he stopped.He was about 25 feet away not knowing what they ate I tossed him a few slices of bread which he didnt want.He followed me for about a mile before he stopped.Later I heard he had escaped from a nearby farm.Another great unexpected outdoor experience.Do they taste like chicken?

I was in an area where I don't know folks, and there was no obvious tall emu ranch fencing anywhere.
