We were out of bananas, so Kate brought out some Craisons to lure the pigs into the scales. Worked like a charm!
As soon as the whole hog is in the scale, you shut the door behind her, check the scale weight, and open the door for the next one. Pretty simple.

Hey, that's not her foot on the scale, is it?
LOL,Pablo!
Can't we start an internet-wide plea to save these adorable pigs?
I can't stand it. oohhhhh gawd, I now feel so guilty about the bacon I had for brex on Sunday. That's IT. I'm never going to eat meat again!
Pablo,
LOL! No, but I meant to teach her that. She's bracing that short panel to keep Bodonkydonk from escaping.
Laura,
Now don't get me started. Here's what I tell myself...after the auction on Wednesday my pigs will probably wind up at a petting zoo...yeah, that's it...a petting zoo with lots of other happy pigs.
Right, and I had a dog that my parents had to send to a really nice farm cuz he needed land to roam. I was an adult with children of my own before I realized that wasn't true. Seriously.
Pablo,
Our kids just realized that the Easter bunny did not actually come and take their bunny back (needed the extra help don't ya know) years ago.
Floridacracker, thanks for your pigs and FFA country fair posts. They were fun to read and the pictures were great. Makes me feel like I can get just a little flavor of your and your community's life.
Love your blog.
Hey Tim,
Thank you. Glad you like it.
