Last weekend, we took Bear out for a splash in the Gulf of Florida.
He's good at splashing.
An intersplash moment.
Later, in the day, Bear got a bath.
The bath technicians prepared for this by wetting themselves thoroughly to get in touch with their inner Labrador.
After a brief chase and subsequent capture, the Bear bath was successfully completed.
At least the dog came out of it cleaner than he went into it.

Bear has the best bathing team. They look like they enjoyed it so much, I think they would have given him a bath whether he needed one or not.
I wanna sign up for that team!
Our well water is too cold even in summer to give the dogs a bath directly from the hose. A hose would be a lot easier, but I have to get warm water.
Looks like you guys had a great time!

lotta cute young critters out at your place!
Hey, how'd you get your kids to bathe the dog? My kids won't do it even for a bribe. I'm jealous (and tired after washing two dogs today)
I have never washed a dog. I suppose after the salt water, but...
Your offspring seem to enjoy it though!
Cute. Does he like to roll around in dirt immediately after a bath?
Robin,
All true! Emma just texted me that he was running amok in a mud hole, so I think another bath is in order.
Dani,
Come on in, the water's fine.
Mark,
Here it's 70 degrees year round.
Debris,
They usually do.
Kathy A,
Thanks! They clean up nice.
Native M,
They seem to like it, so sshhhh ... let's not tell them it's a chore.
Deb,
You are kidding me! Never?
Troll,
Oh yeah ... he's 100% red-blooded DOG!
